Tell us a little bit about yourself?
Although I deeply love my small hometown roots, I’m definitely a city gal! I’m from a small town in Western Nebraska and moved to Lincoln to pursue my degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion design and that is what led me to this incredible job!
When I’m not working, I’m usually out snapping pictures for my fashion blog or doing my second favorite hobby, shopping of course! (: I’m an advid coffee drinker and red wine lover. I live for self care Sundays and zen yoga sessions. Showing up overdressed to every occasion has turned into one of my greatest strengths! LOL
What’s your favorite part about working at Ellynne Bridal?
Oh where do I even begin! I’m so glad that I always listened to my mom’s advice when she said, get a job that you will love and a job that doesn’t feel like a job. Working for Ellynne Bridal doesn’t feel like a job to me. I’ve worked a lot of retail jobs but this one is by far just so unique, authentic, and special in every way possible.
I’ve worked with this amazing company for over a year now and recently got promoted to assistant manager. I love all of the amazing ladies that I get to work with on a daily basis, these are truly the people that make this role such a fun and rewarding experience to walk into every day.
One of my favorite parts about this job is the relationships that I get to make with each bride that walks into our store. Being a part of the wedding journey for each bride that I work with is so special to me. I love the challenge that comes along with finding ‘the one’ and not giving up until I truly find the perfect dress for each bride!
Each day at Ellynne Bridal is different and that’s what makes it so . This company is doing pretty amazing things right now and I couldn’t be more proud to be standing alongside them!
What’s your favorite dress this season?
Although I have a new favorite practically everyday, I absolutely adore Martina Liana style #1254. This dress is so classy, chic, and timeless! Since this gown is so simple, it can be styled in a handful of ways and I assure you this gown won’t be going out of style anytime soon!
Top wedding day must-have?
Hands down a professional wedding photographer, or two! Your wedding day will flash before your eyes so make sure you capture every moment. I personally love the idea of having two photographers so you can capture every single detail at your wedding!

What’s your best piece of advice for brides as they shop for their wedding gown?
100% limit the number of people that you bring to your bridal appointment. Don’t get me wrong, sista likes a good time shopping with all of her girlfriends however, I would think twice about who I’m shopping with when looking for my bridal gown.
I would recommend bringing no more than 4 guests to an appointment. This makes the experience more genuine, intimate and less overwhelming for you! Brining only those few people that are important in the decision making also ensures that you are only taking those people opinions to heart.
What do you do in your down time?
When I’m not working, I’m usually out taking photos and working on content for my fashion blog. As a fashion guru this is just a fun little hobbie that I do on the side to express my style and share what I love with others. I also enjoy working out and spending time with family and friends. I grew up on a lake so when I find the time to go home for the weekend I also love spending time on the lake every chance I get.
What is your favorite things about weddings?
I have always been a hopeless romantic and adore everything about weddings, especially all of the love that can be felt on a wedding day. Weddings are a time to reflect on love and purpose in life. I love to see two people so in love and happily married, there is truly not a happier time in ones life!
