So, the wedding is over, you just celebrated the best day of your life with friends & family, now its time to relax and enjoy time with your new spouse! We’re talking about the best part after the wedding. The honeymoon of course! Whether you’re into hiking, laying on the beach, or exploring old cities, spending some 1-on-1 time with your new hubby is much needed after all that wedding planning!

We’ve put together some of our top destinations for every different Ellynne bride personality! So, grab your guy and check out our favorite honeymooning spots!

ITALY

Do you have some vino?? We do and we are totally swooning over ITALY!! Italy is an amazing place to honeymoon, as is anywhere in Europe because there is quick and easy transportation to anywhere in the country. For the beach-loving bride, the Amalfi Coast is a great spot to go. It is filled with gorgeous coastal drives, vineyards, and just off the coast is the gorgeous island of Capri. If you’re lucky, you just might see one of the many celebrities that own homes on the island or yachts off the coast.

Another great place in Italy we recommend is one of the big cities you so often hear of; Florence, Venice, or Rome. Each one is full of so much rich history and culture! You’ll always have lots of sightseeing to do and every street corner you pass has gorgeous views. From a gondola ride through the canals of Venice, to watching the sunset over Florence from Piazzale Michelangelo, or touring the Vatican in Rome, there is so much beauty to see.

Other great options to visit in Italy are Cinque Terre, Sicily, or Lake Como!

HAWAII

If you’re looking to stay in the U.S, Hawaii is a great option! There are six major islands you can visit: Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Lanai, and Molokai and all of them offer stunning views and fun attractions.

The North Shore in Kauai is a great spot with beaches, mountains, waterfalls, and the cutest shops. If you’re looking for great beaches, Maui is the place to be! Kaanapali Beach has the softest sand and is great for snorkeling. Who doesn’t want to get a little adventurous with their man!! Lastly, if you’re looking to be the life of the party & in on all the action, Waikiki Beach in Oahu is filled with lots of restaurants, bars, hotels, resorts, and beaches!

TANZANIA

If you’re looking for adventure, wildlife, and a unique experience, Tanzania is the place to go. You can take part in a safari, or just enjoy the peacefulness of the lakes and national parks, such as Serengeti National Park! The island of Zanzibar is right off the coast and filled with gorgeous beaches, and would be an amazing place to relax and get some sun with your new man!! Pemba island is near Zanzibar and has great scuba diving, and also has a very chill atmosphere! Lastly, Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa, has borders with Tanzania and is a great place to schedule a boat tour or hike around the lake!

GREECE

Another great place in Europe to travel for your honeymoon is Greece! It offers a wide variety of cities, islands, and excursions. Santorini is an easy boat ride or flight from Athens, which makes for a great place to start your trip! You can spend your day’s wine tasting, eating your body weight in Greek food, laying at the pool or your private hot tub, and so much more! Mykonos is another popular spot with large sandy beaches and lots of great restaurant options! Lastly, Los is an island that isn’t as popular with tourists, but that’s one of its perks! It is a great spot with sparkling blue waters, whitewashed buildings, and lots of beach areas. Plus, its just a ferry ride away from Santorini or Mykonos!

MOROCCO

Morocco has become a more popular tourist destination in recent years, and for good reason! The country is filled with a rich history, great food, and gorgeous landscapes. Casablanca is an amazing place to start your trip, as it is likely where you’ll fly into. After, Marrakech is a famous stop on the list. There are tons of restaurants, cute shops, and famous gardens. For a less touristy area nearby, Essaouira is a fishing village with similar food and beaches to other towns, but for a fraction of the price, and there are fewer tourists! Of course, there is a beach filled with camels or horses from locals ready to ride. Lastly, you can’t visit Morocco without a trip to the Sahara Desert. There are even many places to stay in tents where you can “glamp” with you and your hubby under the stars. Last but not least, don’t forget to ride the camels at sunset!
