Tell us a little bit about yourself?

I was born and raised right here in Lincoln, NE. I am a total girly girl, hints my absolute love for the bridal industry, fashion, skincare and EVERYTHING sparkly and cheetah! I also love me some Husker football! Go Big Red! 

I was looking for a new adventure and sort of fell into bridal.  I started at Ellynne Bridal as a bridal consultant, and in a few short months I was promoted to Store Manager and Buyer.  Before I knew it, I had what we call the “bridal bug” and have been here ever since!

I have two amazing kids, Giovanna, 4 and Roman, 3. Giovanna is four going on fourteen, and most definitely will follow in my footsteps. She already loves everything bridal and is currently planning her sixth wedding! Giovanna has proudly modeled in several bridal shows already. Roman is all boy and is looking forward to the day I will watch him on the field playing football, of course!

What’s your favorite part about working at Ellynne Bridal? 

Honestly, I love it all! I love working with amazing people and gorgeous brides. I love helping brides find that perfect dress that makes them feel so beautiful and confident. I love bridal fashion. I love how no day is the same. I love the back end work that keeps the business running smoothly and efficiently. And of course, I love being given the opportunity to travel all over to view the latest designer collections. There is no industry quite like the bridal industry! 

What’s your favorite dress this season?

Well I actually have lots of favorites! My two absolute favs are Martina Liana styles 1182 and 1212, both fashion forward and unique like the bride that wears them, and of course with lots of bling!

Top wedding day must-have?

Hands down a videographer, to capture all of those raw moments and a personal attendant to help you with all your wedding day needs! 

What’s your best piece of advice for brides as they shop for their wedding gown?

Shop for your gown with an open mind. Your dream gown may be something you never expected, and if it is, don’t be afraid to say Yes to the dress! You’d be surprised how many brides actually find the one at their first shop. And although it can be difficult to choose friends and family to bring with you, do limit the number of guests you bring with you! Your shopping experience will be a lot more enjoyable without so many opinions. You will be able to think clearly and get the gown that YOU truly love!

What do you do in your down time?

I spend all of my down time with my kids, going on walks, bike rides, and visiting their favorite animals at the zoo. We love Summer and all the “fun in the sun” activities that come with it, but boating at the lake ranks #1!

What is your favorite things about weddings?

I love love and seeing two people so in love, in that moment is so special! There are so many little details that go into planning a wedding. I love seeing the bride’s vision come together the day of the wedding!
